Accompanied Battlefield Tours

I have been visiting Ypres and the surrounding areas
including Vimy, Arras, Albert since 1996.

My interest in the Great War stems from two Great Grandfathers,
one of whom was wounded on the Somme the other killed almost a
year after the war had ended. He was killed along with six of his
comrades whilst reburying the dead into the Cemeteries that
we know today. They had stopped work to boil water for their
midday meal, the fire was lit and a shell exploded underneath
them.

There is always something special and sacred for me there, I am
moved by this every time I visit Flanders Fields.
